We are more probable to …

I ever met a non believer that knows that he is a sinner even though he has not accepted Christ yet. It takes a certain insight into yourself/myself to know that you/I are/am a sinner. Insight into oneself is to be aware of and observes the facts about your thoughts/feelings. One can only conclude that nothing good can come out of our natural thoughts/state. Without Christ, it is more probable that our thoughts are negative than positive. Without Christ, it is more probable that our thoughts/speech are critical than builds up. Without Christ, it is more probable that we are more selfish than giving. Without Christ, it is more probable that we are ungrateful than grateful. Without Christ, it is more probable that we are proud than humble. Without Christ, we are more probable to be less secure than feel secure. Without Christ, we are more probable to complain than to give thanks. Without Christ, we are more probable to self pity than to glorify God. Without Christ, we are more probable to be a pessimist than a realist optimist. Without Christ, we are more probable to be ruled by our feelings than principles. Without Christ, we are more probable to want to be loved than to love. Really, can Christ do so much work in us? Yes, He can if only you are willing to say yes I want to be changed by Jesus and start reading the bible.

  1. Well said & written Thai Shin. Without Christ we having NOTHING to look forward to.

  2. Simply put, without Christ we are nothing. It is a knowledge that is deeply ingrained in us christians. We lived by the words of Jesus, by his teachings in the bible. At least we tried. We do the best we can. Every confusing thoughts and doubts is unimportant as long as we put our trust and faith in Him. Everything will fall into place. Remember, we do things in this world not by our own strength but by God’s mercy and grace.
There is nothing probable about whether we’ll do good or bad things in our lives. We don’t need any special skill or ability to realised this and we are born to be able to do the opposites, good or bad! There is nothing strange about this. Its just sin.
When Adam and Eve disobeyed God by eating the fruit of knowledge, they sin big time! This one sin has caused our downfall. We are born into this world with a sin attached! (Genesis 2: 17) (Genesis 3: 1 to 24) That is why we are baptised after we are born. Too bad for non believers!
We are blessed that God did not forsake us. He loved us so much that He sent his only son Jesus to redeemed our sins and died for us! What more can we ask for! Because of what our Lord Jesus did, all our sins are forgiven! Past, present and future! All you need to do is to admit and confess. No penances, no sweat, no hard work! Its free! No deal required! You are forgiven once you accept Christ as you saviour!
Regarding, non believers accepting Christ, well, I was taught and told that It is not my job to convert them. I can only sow the seeds but to harvest, there are others with the proper training to do so. My job is to tell them or talk to them about Christ’s salvation if they wants to listen. If not, they will be saved only if God chooses them. Not all will be saved!
Read the Bible, just don’t interpret it by yourself. You need the Holy spirit to be able to do this.
Live a Christ-like life and others will see His glory in you. Who knows, someone will be saved through you.
