The verse that Muslim apologist commonly use

Numbers 23

19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?  -kjv

19 God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?  -niv

19 God is not a man who lies, or a son of man who changes His mind. Does He speak and not act, or promise and not fulfill?  -hcsb

Observations and Comments

  1. Numbers 23:19 is a verse that Muslim apologist commonly use to argue against the incarnation, that God became a man.
  2. The verse is not saying that Jesus cannot become a man but that God is not like humanity, men and women, who lie. The idea is taken out of context by Muslim apologists legalistically too.
  3. This verse is proclaimed by Balaam. Balaam is a true prophet and Moses included Balaam’s word as truth.

  1. Muslims worship a dead man who now is only bones. Muslims now worship a man who did walk on this earth but now he is dead and does NOTHING to answer prayers of Muslim followers. We that worship the Living God and Jesus Christ pray and worship to a LIVING God who lives now in Heaven. I do not waste my valuable God given time to argue with Muslims who have minds and actions as dogs running wild. Muslims have one hope and that is to take over every country in the world so every living soul is Muslim. God wants each of us to believe in him and worship him. I think it is foolish to worship a pile of bones don’t you? I think it is WISE to Worship the God of the Universe who made the Universe and you and me. What can bones do? Simply lay where they are and do nothing. I have seen MY GOD answer prayers of mine. I believe it and I have seen it. I WORSHIP GOD ALMIGHTY AND HIS LOVING SON JESUS CHRIST.
